Hello! My name is Sinoun.

In 2011, I decided to make the leap to be an entrepreneur and started ShiftWeb. I was 27 years old, incredibly excited and terrified at the same time. But ever since then, I never looked back.

ShiftWeb changed my life in ways I never imagined.

I started ShiftWeb simply because I wanted to be my own boss. As a first generation Cambodian-American, I watched my parents work hard to make a better life for their family. My parents started their own business when I was too young to understand that that was a huge feat for refugees who came to a country with barely anything. They came to America for a better opportunity and I know that I am incredibly blessed to also have this opportunity.

I believe I was subconsciously inspired by my hard working parents. So ever since I was young, I was an entrepreneur at heart.

As a creative person, I always had an opinion about something.

As a tech-savvy person, I always figured out how to do things efficiently.

It was inevitable that I started a web design company.

As time went, I started to see how web design and marketing went hand-in-hand. I learned how marketing was needed for a business to grow. The more I learned, the more I shared. The more I shared, the more positive results I saw for the people around me.

Now, ShiftWeb is much more than a web design company. I wake up every morning by seeing a much bigger picture. I want to help people do better online.

There is something special about helping small businesses just like mine grow and do better.

It feels like I’m helping a neighbor.

It feels like I’m contributing to the community.

It feels like I’m living my life’s purpose.

My professional goal stems from my personal goal: I want to see the people around me thrive.

And I don’t mean “thrive” in only business. I also mean thriving in your personal life. As a business owner, thriving in your business can contribute more positivity in your personal life…
